Omnipotent in Omni-channel

One of the buzz word a few years ago was "omni-channel" and it looks like only recently it can be seen as being omni-potent. Yes, it was funny to see that word surface again. An article by Mike Stocker, " The Definition of Omni-Channel Marketing – Plus 7 Tips " provided what was thought of this term over a year ago. April 1, 2014. Mike Stocker Similar message was posted by Julie Krueger, " Omni-Channel Shoppers: An Emerging Retail Reality ". Google have identified and rolled out the tools that hopefully wont be making users swear at all the unrelated adverts whenever they access a mobile device, watch youtube, read a blog(like this) or do an online search. March 2015. Julie Krueger. Gaining leverage on omni-channel will surely allow any business closer to being omnipotent (in the sense of market leadership).

America's Got Talent - Laura Bretan

A nice and pleasant surprise to hear opera aria by a 13 year old Romanian at America's Got Talent 2016. Its the first time I am hearing of a Golden Buzzer!....Woooweeee!   How much effort does an adult take to master such beautiful renditions? I can imagine many understudies who have now wondered if they were suppressed of their potential by their opera guru. For now, Laura has gotten offers to perform on live shows and I am sure her mother is please with her.

Frank Swettenham's Thoughts on Malay Superstitions

There are records by Frank Swettenham on Malays or also know as Melayu are people of from Malaya in his book. One particular topic of interest is on the local superstitions in Chapter XVII of his book. Lot of traditional elements are mentioned but dispelling of evil spirits had included traditional and reference to god for assistance. There were spirits by name of Bajang, Polong, Pelsit, Langsuior. Bajang Pelsit Polong Langsuir Makes one wonder, does everyone in Kedah those days keep a Pelsit? There is a nice short description of how Jin, Hantu and Bajang originated. Who would have thought that the story of Adam from Genesis would have been related to these occurrences? The Sumatran men who have skills on transformation, are Korinchi. Something that is seen in many animation movies but who would have thought these were from a land so far away. In this book, its also good to read the account of an English man with the services of a Arab astrologer to find...
