After the illegal destruction of the playground to make way for some unknown development on June 10, 2013, the local council have not informed local residents of any plans to restore the playground. It has started to collect stagnant water and shows sign of becoming a mosquito breeding ground. As a result the little walking path, half the badminton court and the trees were destroyed.
