MH370 and perceptions

It is troubling to hear that there was lapse in communication of important details related dissapearance of flight MH370. Some news or perceptions found online. 11 March 2014 Planes transponder stop working and the plane flew across Malaysia for 1.5 hours without raising any alarms. MH370 goes missing on 8.3.2014

Its official that Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Boeing 777-200ER, flight MH370 Kuala Lumpur to Beijing is missing. The flight departed at 12:41AM and most likely everyone was getting ready to tuck in for a nap. Total 239 passangers and crew will be in the prayers of many at this moment. Yahoo news seems to provide more updates than local media, at least in the present moment. Points to note: Aircraft had under gone maintenance 2 weeks before An Italian, Austrian and Chinese listed as being on board were confirmed to have not boarded the flight. Nobody knows who was with the 2 and 4 years old holding American passports. An experienced pilot was onboard. Last contact with flight was at 1:30am (reports vary) towards vietnam. Malaysia's Average Annual Income per Capita

How many of you reading this is earning less than the average annual per capita income of RM32,850 in the year 2014 and can still have your own internet access at home? It works out to about RM2,738 per month (is this gross or net?).
