It is with a feeling of sadness to learn that on 22 July 2016, the search for MH370 is suspended. The Malaysian government have indicated they would only accept the results to what happen to MH370 if the black box is found. Which in this case, its very unlikely going to be found by any government led effort. I would imagine that it will lead to similar situation like this; A private initiative is being planned and would be conducted with the least amount of media attention less there is interference by government forces to find the ill fated MH370. True to the form of open source initiatives, they will find many sources leading to the location but the results may never get revealed to the world. Participants from all over the world would install an application where they need to go outdoors and help with the search.
