Recipe for Dragon Fruit, Banana, Kefir Milk Smoothie
Create a refreshing smoothie that is low in sugar. Refuel the body with antioxidants, probiotics, minerals and vitamins with this drink.This recipe have ingredients to balance down feelings of depression and anxiety. It is because of the natural vitamin B and magnesium present in its contents.
Ingredients
- 1/2ltr kefir milk
- 1 dragon fruit (pitaya)
- 2 medium banana sliced
- Cold water
Method
1. Slice the dragon fruit lengthwise and either scoop out the flesh, or quarter it and peel away the pink skin. Collect only the white part with seeds. Peel banana skin away then slice flesh sideways.
2. Put the fruits and kefir milk in the blender jar. Add water as needed and blend to a smoothie texture.
Optional: On a hot day, add ice cube to have a chilled smoothie.
Some nutrition facts
Cow's milk kefir is also known to have 5% RDA Magnesium and vitamin B, but currently I dont have the link to that data.
