Murder of Chee Gaik Yap in 2006

Justice is blindly selective or just slow in Malaysia.

Shahril was charged of murdering Chee Giak Yap (26years) on the 14th of January 2006 at the duration from 5.30 pm to early morning at 3.05 am near Cinta Sayang Club, Sungai Petani. He was charged under the 302 of the Penal Code which carries the mandatory death sentence once found guilty.

Gaik Yap cause of death was the stab wounds to the neck. For some reason, its decided that evidence was non existent to determine the murderer. Where is NCIS when you need them?

Says.com Death Not because she was rape? What an absurd deduction on death! Of course rape and death are 2 different entities.

In January 2018, the court sentenced Shahril Jaafar on the murder. Nothing mentioned of rape or assault charges.
