Most people have heard of yogurt, which provide "good" bacteria for our body. Over the last few years, another drink is making its mark, Kefir. As shown in the Google trend until 1st Jun 2016, the term "kefir" popularity have more than doubled since the year 2005.

What is Kefir?
Kefir is prepared as a drink from kefir grains with either a milk or water base. These kefir grains are cultured from yeast and bacteria. The orginal kefir grains required addition of sweeteners to be acceptable for consumption. In 2004, only after strains developed with kefir yeast, the flavour itself became more acceptable and there were an increase in its awareness as a health drink.Just to summarise the many articles I have been reading.
