The title says it all. I was sad to hear about Lily who is on Youtube with the handle Polaris Northern Star . Seen her post before but didn't take much notice. From what is found online, Lily is a Melanau from Sarawak and in 2011 she had escaped via Johor Bahru to Singapore. This was with a friend who believed she was economically exploited and abused in Johor Bahru. Unfortunately while at Johor Bahru, some police officer had abused Lily physically and locked her up. Her passport is confirmed real by local authorities and recently she have obtained refugee status and is living somewhere in Europe.
